There is news circulated these days about Apple is planning to hold an event on 25 March 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater on its Apple Park campus. The Buzzfeed report claims that Apple will launch a new subscription news service on 25 March 2019.
Buzzfeed seems to believe that Apple will be focused only on Apple’s news service, with no mention of Apple’s plans to start offering its own TV shows or films via a subscription service but that seems unlikely about Apple company. There are lots of other products that Apple is expected to launch this year however, it’s not clear if Apple will hold more than one event.
There is another rumor suggesting that pre-orders for new products that could be launched at the spring event (2019 iPad mini/ iPad/ Airpower/Air Pods 2) could start on Friday 22 March. If that was the case, then it seems that 19 or 20 dates of March event can be held. Buzzfeed’s rumored event relates to a subscription news service that is thought to offer access to paywalled content from the likes of The New York Times, the Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
In the past, Apple has made some significant announcements at spring events like, in 2015 Apple held an event called ‘Spring Forward’ on 9 March, where it announced pricing and the launch date for the original Apple Watch and unveiled the 12in MacBook and then on 21 March 2016, at the ‘Let us loop you in’ event, we got the iPad Pro 9.7, iPhone SE and iOS 9.3.
Spring 2017 was a bit of a disappointment for Apple users: instead of a full-blown event the company quietly closed down its online store then sent out a press release announcing the launch of the red iPhone 7 and iPad 2017. Then in 2018 Apple held an event on 27 March at a school in Chicago related to education-focused. The company made an announcement on different products and updates including a new iPad (with support for Apple Pencil), updates to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, and GarageBand. As well as talking at length about what it can do for teachers and students in their studies.
As for Apple company for March 2019 event, we aren’t anticipating an education-themed event for 2019. However, Apple has something new that should be ready to hit the limelight by then…
