Here’s How OnePlus 7T And 7T Pro Would Look From Rear

Photos of a mysterious OnePlus phone complete with a circular camera module appeared online in December. Initially, it was thought that the device was OnePlus 7, but the subsequent announcement of the latter confirmed that this was not the case. Now, a leak suggests that it may have been a prototype of the OnePlus 7T at the beginning.

A circular camera module

Three new sketches, courtesy of Evan Blass, reveal that OnePlus is still working on a new smartphone with a circular rear camera module. It seems to have the same dimensions as the implementation of the original prototype, but now it seems a little different. In particular, the horizontal bar was removed through the center and some blue lights were added on each side. The number of sensors that will host this new camera design is not yet known due to the nature of the current loss. However, OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro include dual and triple-camera designs respectively, so similar configurations are likely to be made for the respective successors.

In addition to the cameras, the module itself also contains the words “Designed by OnePlus”. This mark accompanies the OnePlus logo, which is located in the center of the back, and the name of the company located at the bottom. Other noteworthy details include the presence of volume control on one side of the smartphone and the power button and the warning slider on the other. Also includes a lower trigger speaker and a USB-C port. Also, this particular prototype seems to be less rectangular than the one shown in December.

This design could be used in OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro

OnePlus has not yet confirmed its plans for this project, but the Max J. tipster believes it could be used in both OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. If true, it could help differentiate the two models better from their predecessors.

In previous years, OnePlus has made significant changes to the front of its T-branded devices. For example, OnePlus 5T has replaced its predecessor’s 16: 9 display with an 18: 9 panel, while the year’s OnePlus 6T has adopted a significantly smaller notch. This year, however, the changes in the front should be minimal, so a drastic redesign in the back will surely be useful.

For those of you who don’t know, OnePlus 7 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED optical display that features a water-drop notch and a resolution of 1080 x 2340p (Full-HD +). OnePlus 7 Pro, on the other hand, features a curved, fluid AMOLED panel on the screen that supports a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120p (QHD +) and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate. Both OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro should adopt the same screens.

In addition to external details, both OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro should include important internal updates. The main one should be the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus instead of the standard Snapdragon 855, although it is likely that there is also more RAM and storage space. Along with this, Android 10 will probably be ready for use along with the latest version of the Oxygen operating system and LTE 4G network support as standard, although a 5G version of OnePlus 7T Pro may becoming. At the moment it is not clear if there are plans to upgrade in the battery department, but any improvement is welcome.

To complete the setup on both devices, the front and rear camera sensors and potentially ultrasonic fingerprint scanners on the screen must be updated instead of optical alternatives. This should result in more accurate readings and a faster release process.
