Apple has changed a heart, with iPhones that are using third party batteries are now eligible for services that are under Apple’s Warranty unlike before when the iPhones with third party batteries was not covered in the warranty no matter what.
The move was notified to employees through an internal document that was obtained by MacRumors and that clearly means you can take your iPhones that are using third party batteries to Apple stores or Apple Authorized Service for any kind of repair. If the repair is related to battery or anything else it will carry out the repair as normal. Previously these kinds of repairs were not covered by Apple but now any type of repair can be resolved by seeking help from Apple.
The interesting thing here that need to take into account is if the issue of your iPhone is related to the battery then Apple can also replace it to the official one by charging the customer a normal price for this battery replacement process. But the official documents state that if you want to replace your third-party app to the official one you need to must reduce it to a maximum of 60% charge before it is removed from the iPhone. Because it is quite a safe measure to the lack of trust to these third-party batteries. Because none of Apple’s battery exploded ever.
As now third-party batteries in iPhone can be replaced and repair but you need to keep this thing in mind that it only applies to third-party batteries. Apple may still deny for any other replacements of parts or service.
