Apple today released its fifth beta version of iOS 12.3, which is available to developers. The new update brings with it the usual set of bug fixes, but the main addition is the updated TV application that Apple showed during its media event that was held in March.
This fifth beta version is produced only a week after the arrival of the fourth and will certainly mean that the final version is closer than ever to everyone.

Currently, it is only available to registered developers, the update can be downloaded via the OTA update or as an IPSW from the Apple Developer Center on developer.apple.com.
The new TV update is also the one that is implemented on all platforms and tvOS is currently also using its own beta program. On iPhone and iPad, beta versions of iOS 12.3 offer a new machine learning system that aims to offer better advice on what users can appreciate based on what they have already watched.
A new feature called Channels will also be the new way for users to subscribe to various streaming media services through the TV application, although big names such as Netflix will not be part of that configuration. Instead of that, services like Starz and Showtime will offer subscriptions directly from the TV application, with all the content available in one place without having to leave the application.
The surprising thing here is that the new machine learning system will also work with streaming services that remain external to the TV application, with recommendations that continue to look like them. However, users will need to switch to the third-party application to enjoy the content.
