Apple has discounted one of its iPad pro lineups today, after the release of iPad Air and iPad mini. The 10.5-inch iPad pro is no more now that was released in June 2017.
The new 10.5-inch iPad Air has effectively taken the place of 10.5-inch iPad Pro. There are a lot new as well as the features in the previous iPad Pro had are available in the new iPad Air such as it also supports the first-generation Apple Pencil but there is one missing feature and that is support for 120 Hz ProMotion.
The removal of this iPad Pro also removes the possibility of confusion between it and the iPad Air while streaming the iPad Pro lineup also.
The iPad Pro consists of 11 and 12.9-inch 2018 models and that means the odd combination of Face ID-equipped iPad Pro models and the touch ID-equipped no longer exists now.
After the iPad Pro release, Apple kept the 10.5-inch model around the price of $649, offering a low price for those people who are looking for something powerful. However, as the new iPad Air supports the Apple Pencil and a powerful A12 CPU, making it obvious that the older iPad Pro was a quite less compelling option. Especially if we consider the $499 which is the starting price of this new iPad Air. This move makes a sense, and the iPad Pro is surely the one that you can easily explain now than it was before.
Along with the iPad Air, Apple has announced the newly updated iPad mini, with the tallest iPad that is also attracting people’s attention along with the Apple Pencil support.
