It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ to be introduced on August 7 during the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York. We are expecting to see two different versions for each model, one with the connectivity of LTE 4G and the other compatible with 5G. Today, tipster Ice Universe tweeted some photographs that said to be showing screen protectors for both phone models. Based on the leak images, it seems that the headphones have a punch hole selfie camera at the center of the screen and a rear camera module mounted vertically at the top left of the rear panel.
Both Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (SM-N971 version 5G, SM-N970 for the 4G LTE model) and Galaxy Note 10+ (SM-N976 for 5G variant, SM-N975 for the 4G LTE model) will be powered by the platform of 855 Snapdragon mobile in the US and the SoC Exynos 9825 almost anywhere else. The last item has both models equipped with two flight time sensors (ToF), one in front and the other behind. These sensors measure the time taken for infrared light to hit the subject and bounce off the phone, which provides more accurate depth calculations. This can be used to improve the bokeh effect (blur) in portraits and can also be used to create 3D maps for facial recognition.
Other than the ToF sensor, the cameras can include a 12MP variable aperture, telephoto camera of 12MP and 16MP camera with ultra wide-angle capabilities. Both models will also have ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, wireless PowerShare reverse load, and an IP68 certification rating. This means that both models are dust-proof and can be submerged up to 5 feet of water for about 30 minutes. And don’t forget that every Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ phone will be supplied with the S Pen. Last year, Samsung added the support for Bluetooth to the stylus, allowing it to be used to take pictures, control media streaming and even run a slideshow. But for this year we haven’t heard much about the tool that says we shouldn’t expect to see new features for this.
We Could See The Phones Launched On August 22nd According To Last Year’s Galaxy Note 9 Release Date
The Galaxy Note 10 should have a 6.3-inch curved AMOLED screen with 1440 x 3040 resolution. It works with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is said to have a 3400 mAh battery that is to be responsible for supplying power to the unit, and the price could start in the range of $ 1,100- $ 1,200. Galaxy Note 10+ is seemed to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1440 x 3040 screen resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Reports say that this model will be supplied with a 4500mAh battery and will offer a fast 25W charge.
Although we are not sure of the possible configurations available for each phone model, we saw reference tests for the Verizon version of the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G (SM-N976V) and the same phone’s international variant (SM-N976B). The first had 12 GB of memory and the second had 8 GB of RAM. There may be a version with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, one with 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage and a drive with 12 GB of memory with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. We will surely get answers to all these on August 7th.
We can clearly see Samsung taking the pre-orders for the Note 10 and the Note 10+ immediately after the Unpacked event ended at the Barclay’s Center. Last year, the Galaxy Note 9 was released 15 days after its announcement; if we take into account the same calculations for this year would give us a possible release date of August 22nd.
