As we approach the date of August 7th of the next Samsung Unpacked event, more information on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ will be revealed. Today, SamMobile reports having heard from one of its sources the amount of storage space that will be included with the different configurations of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G. The device is equipped with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage with this latest model with 12 GB of memory.
Although it was initially thought that Samsung would present the 4G LTE and 5G models of both the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+, this thought has changed. Now it appears that there will be a 5G-enabled Galaxy Note 10 based on the specs of Galaxy Note 10+. Reportedly, this will be exclusive to Verizon in the US. And the memory leak will coincide with a previous reference test of a Verizon Galaxy Note 10 5G with 12 GB of memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G Supports A 45-Watt Fast Charge, Though There Is A 25-Watt Adapter In The Box
The other day, a report from Germany points out that the basic model of the 4G LTE version of the Galaxy Note 10 will be equipped with 256 GB of memory. It is expected that this unit will be priced close to $1,000, while a model with 512 GB of storage costs $1,150. But we deviate from the subject.
The Galaxy Note 10 5G will feature a 6.75-inch curved Super AMOLED screen with very fine bevels and a selfie camera with perforations at the center of the screen. The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform will power the US version. The camera setup will include a 12-megapixel main camera, possibly with a three-stage variable aperture, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera. There will also be a flight time sensor (ToF) for more accurate depth readings. This should allow the phone to take portraits with a better bokeh effect. For battery, there is no doubt that Samsung wanted a 4500mAh battery inside, similar to that available in the Galaxy S10 5G. However, Sammy had to make space for the coating on the S Pen, forcing it to reduce the battery capacity to 4170 mAh in the Galaxy Note 10 5G. While a 25 W fast charger will be supplied in the phone package, according to the Ice Universe, the headset will accept charging via 45 W cable and 20 W wireless charging. Samsung will offer an optional 45-watt fast charging.
The Galaxy Note 10 5G will start with Android 9 Pie and the Samsung One user interface pre-installed. Designed for today’s large, tall and thin screens, the latter places most of the items that can be clicked at the bottom of the screen so the user doesn’t have to move a finger to reach an option located in the part top of the screen.
Verizon’s 5G network is currently available in some parts of Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, and Providence. The following group of cities to receive the service will include:
- Atlanta, GA
- Boston, MA
- Indianapolis, IN
- Kansas City, MO
- Charlotte, NC
- Cincinnati, OH
- Cleveland, OH
- Columbus, OH
- Dallas, TX
- Des Moines, IA
- Detroit, MI
- Houston, TX
- Little Rock, AK
- Memphis, TN
- Phoenix, AZ
- Salt Lake City, UT
- San Diego, CA
- Washington DC
5G is 10 times faster than 4G LTE. Once established throughout the country, this greater speed should allow the creation of new businesses and industries that we are not even able to conceive today. Movies that take a few minutes to download on a phone take a few seconds and the cars they drive themselves will take you to their destinations.
